Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint – A Review

Since Ms. Rihanna released her gorgeous Fenty Beauty line of cosmetics, I’ve been unable to obtain any of it, due to my colour (#420) being constantly sold out.  I wanted to buy the entire line at the same time and not in pieces. This all changed last Friday when my Stunna Lip Paint in the mail via Sephora. who delivered within 48 hours!

Fenty Beauty Stunna Review

  • Packaging: Absolutely loved the elegant simplicity of this product; definitely on par with more expensive cosmetics
  • Colour: I love reds with blue undertones to them {I used to work in the cosmetics industry.  This has more of an orange tone, very nice but it won’t be my go-to red, I’ll probably add one of my other reds on top.
  • Feel: This is a matte gloss, so it does feel a little drying.  I rectify this by using EOS lip balm underneath
  • Application: I found the formula a little runny {got a little over my fingers when I opened it, hence why it’s probably called paint!} and the applicator is a little wider then I’m used to; I found it best applied with a lip brush. In my opinion, this is not a product to be applied straight out of its elegant container.
  • Wear: I applied this at 10:30 a.m. and did not have to reapply, even after eating an English muffin and sipping on dandelion tea all day out of a travel mug.  It was still in place at 6:00 pm. The wear on this product is simply AMAZING!! Removed it with coconut oil, my everyday makeup remover.

Overall I love the packaging, like the colour and give it an 8/10 due to having to apply with a lip brush and the slight runniness of product.
